The IIAL are pleased to announce that we will be holding our London Conference on Monday 30th October 2017 kindly hosted by Lloyd’s of London and to be held in the Old Library, Lloyd’s, One Lime Street, London.
The Conference will be addressing 'London as an Islamic Insurance Centre: seizing the opportunities and meeting future challenges'. The Conference will be opened by Max Taylor, Chairman, IIAL and we are delighted that keynote speeches will be given by Inga Beale DBE, Chief Executive Officer, Lloyd’s of London and Mr Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, Chief Exective Officer, Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre.
The keynote speeches will be followed by a Panel Session to discuss 'Creating London’s response to a changing Islamic Insurance Landscape'. The Panel Session should be an interesting and informative debate between Panel Members and the audience. Panel Members include Stella Cox CBE, Chair of CityUK’s Islamic Finance Market Advisory Group; Muhammed Shikder, UK Scholar and Susan Dingwall, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright.
