2nd IIAL London Conference
We are pleased to announce that the 2nd IIAL London Conference will be held on Tuesday 27th November 2018 (8.30am - 12.00) in the Old Library, Lloyd's, One Lime Street, EC3.
The Conference will be addressing our 2018 theme 'Delivering Capacity - Driving Standards - Developing Expertise' and will be opened by Max Taylor, IIAL, Chairman and we are delighted to welcome John Glen MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, as our keynote speaker. We are pleased to announce that speeches will also be given by Dr. Sayyida Rawan Ahmed Al Said, Chief Executive Officer, Takaful Oman; Professor George E Holmes DL, President & Vice Chancellor, University of Bolton Group and Dr Samir Alamad, Head of Sharia Compliance and Product Development, Al Rayan Bank.
The keynote speeches will be followed by a panel session with Q&A's and we are delighted to welcome David Testa, Executive Director, DDCAP Group; Professor Mohammed Abdel-Haq, Director of the Centre for Islamic Finance, University of Bolton; Cameron Murray, Head of Middle East & Africa Commercial Division, Lloyd's and Peter Greengrass, Chairman, NDI Insurance Brokers. The panel will be discussing "How does the London Market deliver? What and where do the responsibilities lay?" and will be moderated by Jon Guy, Secretary General.
