World Takaful Summit  - Dubai - April 2018

The IIAL were pleased to participate in the recent World Takaful Summit in Dubai where Dave Matcham, Executive Committee Member, gave a keynote speech explaining the London Market and its willingness to deliver Shariah compliant capacity.  Dave’s speech was delivered to a packed audience comprising industry representatives from across the Middle East and was well received; with a follow-up headline article in the UK's 'Insurance Day' (10.4.18).  There was further representation at the Summit with Jon Guy, Secretary General, expertly moderating the conference and two panel sessions discussing:  'Major opportunities for Takaful' and 'How InsurTech is revolutionising Takaful.
